Content Development and Interactivity

If you get a chance, check out Slide as a content development tool. It's major purpose is to embed slideshows and images into social networks providing an easy way for Facebook, MySpace , and Bebo participants to add a little interactivity into their site. I have often thought that these little tools that focus on simple interactive functionality could be a model for how we 1. create engaging content interactions for our learners and 2. allow our learners to participate through a constructive learning model.

Check out this example and look for my new FJ within the slides.

This example shows pictures from an event I attended this past weekend. Nothing really new here in terms of technology, but the ease of use and increased interactivity is pretty interesting.

This example below is a simple script that you embed into your HTML.

It will be really interesting to see if educators and content developers will continue to adapt these types of "populr" approaches to content creation or will new tools be created to enable trainers and coaches to show simple processes and build interactivity?
