This past Thursday Google acquired Writely, the web-based word processor. I signed up for Writely last year and I currently have around 60 documents that I have created using the tool. It has slowly replaced my use of Microsoft Word. Due to the anticipated high-demand from the Google purchase the suspended taking new users, but I would recommend anyone to start using Writely, once they open it back up.
