Official Gmail Blog: Spice up your inbox with colors and themes
I am not a theme kind of guy, but if you like to jazz up your gmail account here you go. I guess you might get used to a theme over time, but I find it really hard to have a page that you spend a lot of time on, to be color intensive. I have gmail on all the time, so I just don't want that much glare during my work day. I might be interested in a tailored them that adds a few logos from my favorite teams, but nothing over the top.
