This session started with Jay introducing Brad Cooper, who sat at my table in the morning. Brad discussed the current state of the LMS industry and how it might address the changes that are represented as the workflow learning initiated.
Key themes included the LMS does not focus on performance. The goals of the lms include:
- link people to work performed
- establish performance standards
- link performance issues to resources
-keep records of intervention
-associate resource to analysis
-provide mechanism for updating resources
-provide record keeping on resource updates.
Brad then presented a discussion on HRIS/ERP systems, Performance Management Systems, and Learning Management Systems.
