Microsoft to Support RSS

At Gnomedex 2005, Microsoft announced that they will support RSS feeds throughout their software. Specifically, Longhorn, that next version of Windows, will allow syndication of information thoughout the operating system. This change will allow for a "subscription" to your information. My notes... I think about being able to subscribe to a convesation concerning a project or a feed of changes to a MS Word document. I'm not sure I have it exactly but it seems they will enable metadata to be shared through a feed. We'll keep watching.
