Back in 1998 I attended a conference at WVU where a Netscape employee talked about the future of technology and how it would become part of our lives. The example he used and I have often talked about with students or groups that I have presented to included monitoring the items in your fridge using bar codes...... Well, it is here.
ikan allows you to scan your products once you have used them and it monitors your grocery list. Then you can place an order online or just print out the list to take to the grocer of your choice. Pretty cool.
I am guessing that you could probably be able to print your own bar codes and keep track of any kind of inventory, like training materials.
